There are two versions of this book. The 1940 version is the “first edition” and
this (somewhat confusingly) says inside “Reprinted 1940”. It means that the contents of the book are
reprints, that is the three Biggles titles it contains. The Biggles Flying Omnibus was then reprinted
the following year and that says “Reprinted 1941”. That was the second and final edition.
This is an original first edition dust wrapper (i.e. from a book
saying “reprinted 1940” rather than from a “reprinted 1941” version) showing
the original price of 4/-
